Moving on...
Time to move on... Packing up all items in Brussels, and moving the boxes across the ocean to the USA. What's the plan ?
Last week all our items were packed up in our Brussels apartment, and loaded into a container, which is now slowly making its way across the ocean to the US. As of May 8th, the ship carrying the container has left Antwerp, and is exiting the channel between France and the UK:
Next steps... move into a home in Dallas, TX as soon as the container arrives !
And in the mean time, it of course becomes obvious what was packed in the containers and shouldn't have - I hope the list doesn't become too long (corkscrew, envelopes, backup hard-disc, power plug convertors, etc.)

Comment 1: Wow, what an exciting journey from Brussels to Dallas! Packing up everything and shipping it across the ocean must have been a huge task. I can imagine how difficult it is to remember everything that needs to be packed—sometimes the little things, like a corkscrew or a power plug converter, can slip through the cracks. When I moved recently, I was so focused on the big items, like my mattress, that I almost forgot some smaller essentials. It’s funny how the big things, like a comfy mattress, are easy to remember, but the little things can cause stress later on. Best of luck with the move!
