Midsummer-Jazz-Night with Norah Jones [Gent, July 7, 2010]

Norah Jones opened the Gent Jazz 2010 festival on July 7th - in the nice historic setting of De Bijloke in Gent. Nice weather, good accomodations (including the sound system) which made for an enjoyable evening. Certainly a better setting for Norah Jones then Vorst Nationaal where she played a few days earlier. Her concert at Gent Jazz covered both her popular hits as well as a broad selection of her latest album - without being a spectacular concert it was still one I'll remember for the combination of the music, the atmosphere, the venue and the nice crowd.
