Rihanna @ Ottawa May 2nd 2013

Thursday Night's sold-out Diamonds show took place at the Scotiabank Place - the former Corel Center before this software maker ended up in trouble. The nearly two hours show resembled a Vegas show with a jukebox soundtrack [full track list of the concert is below].

The best part of the show for me... The start of the "slow" portion of the show, with Rihanna showing up in a long red two piece dress, and performing "Loveeeeeeee Song (Love And Affection)" morphing into "Love The Way You Lie" to continue on into "Take A Bow" using a trip-hop bridge stolen from Massive Attack. Throughout the show there were more snippets of other pop and rock songs as Rihanna's band added a good portion of rock guitars to the soundmix (one of the guitarists comes from the rock band Extreme)

Ottawa loves Rihanna. And even more so since Rihanna put a picture of a sexy pose with a vintage Ottawa Senator's shirt on her badgalriri instagram page:
